What to know before your first report.

Can I tell whether my change worked?

Indirectly, and honestly. Every report says what changed since the last comparable one, so running twice a week shows you the conversation before you acted and after. Ovation will not tell you your post caused the difference, because public comments cannot prove that.

Does Ovation claim my post caused a change?

No. It reports what changed and leaves the cause to you. When two reports cannot be compared fairly, it withholds the movement instead of guessing.

Does Ovation read every comment?

No. It reads as much as it can reach within the last seven days and the limits on your plan, then tells you exactly how much that was.

Can two reports include the same comments?

Yes. Each report looks back seven days, so reports run close together overlap. That is why comparisons are treated as direction, not proof, and why movement is withheld when two weeks cannot be compared fairly.

What is a single-post read?
